hello.

I'm Justin L. Birnholz

I’m a storyteller at heart, always inspired by the little moments, curious characters, and unexpected adventures that make life worth writing about. Through my books, I hope to create stories that spark imagination, bring a smile, and stay with readers long after the final page.

Biography

Justin L. Birnholz is just, like, this guy, you know? By day, he’s a clinical psychologist and by night, he’s a writer and quite possibly a costumed crimefighter (I have a theory he is, anyway). He lives in British Columbia with his weird and wonderful family, and moved there from the great United State of Illinois in 2025; he likes it in Canada, thank you for asking. The Tiny God of Losers is his first published work but he’s been writing mostly comic fiction since he was a kid, and he is confident he can publish more of his stuff in the future – stay tuned to this website for details about future publications! He used to write sketches for the award-winning Chicago sketch comedy group The Comic Thread, that was fun. What else? Oh, well, Justin has cooked recipes from every country on Earth, no seriously, it was this personal project he did that he wouldn’t stop talking about, took him six years but he did it. Yeah, that’s enough bio. Hey, thanks for visiting my website!
